Obesity Management CME Program

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

This online CME course is provided by the University of Calgary Office of CME&PD and Alberta Health Services – Primary Care and Chronic Disease Management. It is not a one-time course for your participation but an ongoing portal for your point-of-care access.

You will learn the 5As of obesity management from this self-learning course. It is a weight management framework for primary care providers, created by Dr. Arya Sharma, the scientific director and CEO of the Canadian Obesity Network. The Obesity Management CME Course was designed for primary care practitioners in Alberta to understand the 5As, and to give them a set of practical tools and local resources in obesity counselling and management.
