When Things Go Wrong in the OR

This interactive workshop at the Rural Anesthesia Conference will immerse participants in an operating room environment, where they will have the opportunity to manage two high-acuity, low-occurrence (HALO) events. Through these scenarios, participants will practice rapid decision-making, teamwork, and crisis management skills in situations that are rare but critical in anesthesia practice. The workshop is designed to enhance confidence and preparedness in responding to complex clinical emergencies while fostering collaboration in a safe, supportive learning environment.
