This is the pre-course component of 2023 ECG Interpretation Course. Participants of this course are REQUIRED to complete the pre-course activity before going to the face-to-face sessions.
ABOUT THE COURSE
This course will provide a review of basic 12-lead ECG interpretation skills. The course is designed to enhance ECG interpretation skills for the purpose of practice improvement, and facilitated by the cardiologists from the University of Calgary Cardiac Sciences.
Participants will watch a series of podcasts, completing related online ECG interpretation exercises, experiencing a full day of face-to-face learning activities including short lectures and a rotation of small group case discussions.

- Identify findings suggestive of ischemia on an ECG
- Correctly diagnose myocardial infarction on an ECG including whether it is acute, subacute, or old
- Accurately diagnose atrial and ventricular tachyarrhythmias
