About the course
Peer Coaching for Practicing Professionals will pragmatically prepare you to coach peers in a variety of settings.
The eight-week course is comprised of self-learning modules, online interactive workshops, peer discussions and a discussion forum.
Participants will be assigned into coach-coachee pairs for workshops and peer discussions.
Workshop breakout rooms will be recorded on Zoom cloud for learning purposes to aid peer discussions and personal reflection. Recordings will not be shared or used for any other purpose, including by faculty or other members of the course. Recordings will be deleted 3 months after course as per university retention rules.

Discussion ForumA discussion forum is used to create connections and a community of practice which will be an invaluable resource throughout your coaching journey.

This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the University of Calgary Office of Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development for up to 12 Mainpro+® credits.
